The formula of the Magical PixieDust is very similar to the original PixieDust formula, of course with the addition of the hexagonal glitter shapes.  If you think the original formula is sparkly, just you wait to get these on your nails!  Definitely a party you will want to attend, the Magical Pixie is very glittery and dazzling – simply gorgeous!  I found two shades, Cosmo and Lux to apply very similarly, smoothly and evenly, achieving excellent coverage with 2 coats.  Vega was just a little on the thick side and not as easy to glide over the nail, but the second coat evened out well and gave excellent coverage with two coats as well.

With the Zoya PixieDust formulas, it is recommended not to use a base or top coat, because this will affect the matte texture.  Of course if you do wish for it to be shiny you can add a few coats of your favorite glossy topcoat, which makes these just as dazzling!  Overall I am very impressed with this collection and I love the pale pastel look especially for spring!

Will you be purchasing this holographic version of the PixieDust formula from Zoya?  Let me know which one(s) are your favorite!
