Fun Summer colors! Wet n Wild Megalast Salon Nail Color

When browsing in the Wet n Wild cosmetic section at Walgreens a few weeks ago I spotted some bright shades in the Wet n Wild Megalast nail displays I hadn’t paid attention to before, so I decided to pick up a few of them to share with you.  These are perfect for summer!

The brush is nice and wide, which makes it easy to nearly get my entire nail in one swipe, although working it around my pinky is a little more challenging, it is do-able!

Aren’t these colors fun!?  I’ve been a fan of WetnWild’s Megalast Salon Nail polishes since they introduced this formula.  My favorite shade has to be I Need a Refresh-mint, a perfect pale minty-blue.  In fact, that shade would look perfect right alongside these bright beauties I think!  In general I really like the formula of the Megalast polishes.  They are easy to spread on the nail, and I like the brush.

Application Notes.  Tropicalia and Club Havana went on a little streaky and uneven with the first coat, and evened out a little more with the second.  Heatwave almost feels a little jelly-like when applying it, and although I applied two coats for opacity in the above photos, you could still see the tips of my nails a little – however, it was the easiest and smoothest to apply compared to the other two, and I love the color!

Overall I think these are definite must-haves if you are a fan of the brush and formula of these polishes, plus they are a steal at under $2 each, so if you need a fun color for summer that doesn’t break the bank, definitely check these out!

  1. I love Tropicalia! So gorgeous on your hands! I bought it!

    1. Hey Alison! I would say I can get about four days out of them with a topcoat and basecoat on. I never can get as long as a polish claims, but these ones are so cheap I think it is pretty impressive. 🙂
