Something About Berry is a pigmented and solid blush shade that is easy to pick up with the brush.  For my fair skintone, not much is needed on the brush yet it still can be built up for more vibrance if I want.  From the swatches above I was hopeful in capturing a little bit of the glisten this blush gives.  It is soft, not frosty and not glittery, but there is a glow to the blush and when blended onto the cheeks it is flattering.  *edit – Thanks to reader Louise for sharing when she swatched this blush in-store it looked very glittery.  I to want to note it does glisten and appears glittery in the pan, but on the cheeks it blends out beautifully and I do not feel like it looks like glitter once on the skin – just glow – which I am loving! 🙂  I do not feel it accentuates pores or wrinkles, so whatever magic formula you are using Too Faced, I like it!

The packaging of this blush should be discussed because, well it is beautiful.  The box reminds me of a box of candy and the sweet heart shape is darling.  While the blush is marketed to be able to use all three shades within this “palette” I feel like getting my brush into an individual shade is quite difficult (unless using a small brush).  My medium angled blush brush ends up touching at least two of the shades at least so I could experiment with that variety as well I suppose.  I do love all three shades swirled together – the combination of the light to darkest shades gives the cheeks beautiful dimension.  I wore Something About Berry for eight hours and did not experience fading, and although it is a “glowy” blush, I felt it worked well with my oily skin type.

Overall this blush is a stunner and definitely worthy of making it into my list of Top 5 Spring Blushes for this season!  The pigmentation and blendability is perfection, and I think this shade would be suitable for a variety of skintones because the color is buildable.  The blush does give the cheeks a noticeable glow, and although I have oily skin I felt it worked perfectly.
