TheBalm Detour A-Head En Root Dry Shampoo

In Hair, The Balm by Angie Canning

“An easy alternative for girls on the run!”

DETOUR A-HEAD En Root Dry Shampoo by the Balm has been my go-to dry shampoo lately – rushing my boys from one sports practice or game to the next, I have definitely felt the need to freshen up my locks, and this one works great!  En Root performs like many other dry shampoos I have experienced, except for one thing – the scent is amazing!  Not overpowering or to sweet, it smells fresh and almost playful!  I love it!

TheBalm-En-Root-Dry-Shampoo-3DETOUR A-HEAD is Paraben and sulfate-free – plus it is safe for color treated hair.  Although it is like other dry shampoos that can leave a slight light cast on my brown roots (that desperately need touched up right now – ugh!) I’ve been using an application trick I heard about awhile back that works so well! I spray it onto my roots before applying my makeup and then I don’t touch it (no brushing it through!) until after my makeup is done – so the dry shampoo is doing the oil-absorbing magic while I’m busy doing other things.  I then comb it out as usual after it has had a chance to absorb a bit.  If after styling I feel I still have a slight “cast” at all, I will take a shine spray and mist it lightly, or dampen my brush and comb it through a few of my strands.  Easy peasy!
