The VanityList: Halloween Beauty Products To Perfect Your Look

In Wish List by Angie Canning

HALLOWEEN is almost here, and whether you go all out in full costume, or you play it safe and jazz up your every day makeup and/or nails to be festive, there are some pretty fun beauty products to play with this time of year!  Here are a few fun things from Sephora – I’d love to know what’s on your Halloween beauty wishlist!

Beautifully Wicked!

Inspired by the Broadway Musical, Wicked, this set by Deborah Lippmann is dripping with perfection for Halloween!  If you haven’t seen swatches yet, head over to Makeup and Beauty Blog to check them out – I’m LOVING that green!

Deborah Lippmann Wicked Set – Sephora says: “This edgy collection celebrating the Broadway musical WICKED‘s 10th anniversary is as wickedly mesmerizing as the characters who inspired them. Each is named after an original song and captures WICKED‘s wit and Ozmopolitan charm. “Popular” was inspired by Glinda, a glistening pink in a shimmer finish that was color-matched to the iconic pink dress worn by the character during the “Popular” number. “Defying Gravity” was inspired by Elphaba, a green hue in a cream finish that signifies the extension of Elphaba’s skin color. And “One Short Day” is infused with an emerald glitter inspired by The Emerald City, where Elphaba and Glinda journey together.”

Tinker-Zombie…?!

BRIGHT pigments and fun and flashy colored liquid liner would be perfection for adding the finishing touch to your Tinkerbell or Zombie costume this year (hey, who says Zombie’s don’t need a little liquid liner?!).

Make Up For Ever Pure Pigments – Sephora says: “Make Up For Ever Pure Pigments contains a high color concentration that can be used on the eyes or lips. You can mix it in with your clear gloss to create your own personalized color, apply it on the lid for a swash of color, or create a liner by applying with a wet brush. Play with the color to create a rich pigment that pops.”

Make Up For Ever Aqua Liner –  Sephora says: “Rich in polymers, this superior eyeliner offers an impeccable hold that guarantees water-, tear-, and smudge-proof color. Its ergonomic, foam-tip applicator is designed to resemble a makeup brush handle for the quickest, easiest, and most accurate application.”

The Countess

IF you want a lip product that will last you all fright night long, then definitely look into OCC Lip Tars!  Black Metal Dahlia would be the perfect lip color if you are visiting the dark side as a Countess Dracula or a Wicked Witch, and the metallic finish would be the perfect touch!

OCC Lip Tar – Sephora says: “After three years of intensive product development, OCC is proud to introduce a new breed of Lip Tar with a metallic finish. Infused with state-of-the-art metallic pigments with intense resolution, the opacity is an unparalleled high-voltage electric with a reflective shimmer finish.”

Inner Rockstar

THERE is something appealing about letting out the 80s inner rock star I know is deep down in there somewhere!  Remember JEM and the Holograms anyone?! You know, “Off stage, she’s Jerrica, the cool chief executive of Starlight Music Corp.  On stage she’s JEM, the hottest new rock star to hit the music scene…!”).  Childhood fantasies behind, a temporary spray hair color just might be the perfect finishing touch with your leotard, leg warmer and sweat-band outfit…errr, costume! – or for just a bit of festive fun!

Rita Hazan Pop Color Temporary Color Spray for Hair –  Sephora says: “Add vibrant streaks, tips, and all-over color to hair without using tints, bleaches, or peroxide. Playful and creative without the commitment of dye, POP Color is easy to apply and looks red-carpet ready in minutes.”
