“Inspired by warm summer days spent on the boardwalk…”

The butter LONDON Summer 2014 Lolly Brights Collection is the perfect ticket for summertime fun this year!  The entire collection consists of dare-to-wear mascara and eyeliner shades, fun nail lacquer and and poppin’ cream blush for flushed summer cheeks.  Today I’m sharing swatches and more photos of the three LIPPY Lip Glosses from the collection.

Lolly Brights LIPPY Lip Gloss top to bottom: Chuffed, Stroppy, Twee

butter LONDON lip glosses have a brush applicator. Shown here is “Chuffed” with some glorious sparkles!

LIPPY Lip Gloss Swatched from top: Chuffed, Stroppy, Twee

Chuffed is described as a sheer, orange gloss

Chuffed slightly tints the lips orange and has a soft sparkle.

Twee is described as a sheer, magenta gloss.

Twee gives a very slight hint of pink on the lips.

Stroppy is described as a sheer, lavender gloss. (Look at those iridescent sparkles!)

Stroppy is very sheer on the lips, just as described, but the iridescence is pretty and would look fabulous on top of another lippie!

Although these are sheer, as butter LONDON says, I still love how bright they are in the tube – fun colors that remind me of eating frozen popscicles in the heat of the summer!  In general I find butter LONDON lip glosses to be softening on the lips. The formula contains shea butter and vitamin E.  They are of medium consistency so they last longer than a very lightweight lipgloss, yet they are not sticky or too heavy, and they have a slightly sweet scent.  I love to use them to top off another lipstick, or lately when I’m looking for a subtle lip with a little extra glisten I’m reaching for Chuffed!

Will you be getting any of the LIPPY Lip Gloss from butter LONDON’s Lolly Brights Collection?  Let me know which one you like best!

I agree – even though BL says they are sheer it helps to actually see them swatched I think! I am used to more color on my lips personally, but they are nice to top off something else! 🙂
