Zoya’s Tickled and Bubbly Collections for Summer 2014 were inspired by the summer sun and culture of South Beach. The Bubbly Collection is full of summertime brights that glisten in the sun (reviewed here!) and now I will be sharing the creams from the Tickled Collection. I love my glitzy shades on the nails so I was curious what I would think of these full-coverage creams in comparison, and let me just tell you right now, they are anything but dull, and each one is definitely ready for the party!
Solid in application and opaque with two coats, Zoya nail polish always does a beautiful job with their creams. Be prepared for some color with this collection! Even the shade that looks the most pale in the bottle (Kirtridge) goes on quite vibrant and near neon which I LOVE!
My favorite three shades (if I were forced to choose three anyway!) have to be the brightest of the bunch: Wendy, Kitridge and Rooney. All three of these shades Zoya says contain florescent pigment, so although I tried my best to capture the true shade of these three, due to monitor settings you might be seeing something different than I do! Nonetheless, all three are gorgeous and if I were to choose two favorites from the three I think one would have to be Kitridge – it is such a vibrant bubblegum pink that looks amazing against a tan and Wendy is such a fun and vibrant pinky-coral that is perfection! Tilda and Ling are both vibrant and solid summer staples – the green is not too dark or light and the blue in Ling is a true royal shade! Rocha‘s color description that it is a “classic folly red” is a little vague, but it appears to be a bright and warm red (think red-orange and not coral). Definitely popping on both pale or tanned skin tones!
