I am very excited to bring to you V|R’s VanityPicks Holiday Edition for 2012! I wanted to put together a Holiday Gift Guide for those of us who have not yet finished shopping and need a little inspiration. Because I do not have reviews up for some of these products, I wanted to bring to you valuable information, and direct you to fellow beauty blogger’s reviews of the product. I talked to some of my blogging friends and asked them what they might recommend for a holiday gift of any of the the products they have reviewed. So, I am very excited to share links to their review and/or swatch post of the product they would recommend. A big thank you to all the ladies who are sharing their posts here on V|R!
Palettes
Palettes are a perfect gift, really for any beauty-lover out there, but especially for anyone just starting out in makeup. I remember when I first started looking into larger palettes, I found it confusing trying to figure out which ones to splurge on, or which ones to pass by. This is why beauty blogger reviews are so valuable– am I right?! Here I have compiled a list of palettes with links to reviews so you can see in more detail what each palette is all about. Of course any beauty – beginner or not – would want to receive any of these gifts! They are just that fabulous! (Please note: Links in images below are clickable).
These are great gift ideas, I love the Korres lip butters, I didn’t know there was a gift set!
Hi Krystal – I have heard such great things about the lip butters but haven’t tried them out yet – I really should!
Thanks again for the link Angie! What a fun post, so many great gift ideas
Hi Nicole – Certainly!
I am so happy that I could share your love of the Lip Glaces with everyone…now I should really probably order that set so I can get some LM lip action…lol
Thanks for letting me participate in this Angie! It looks great!
Oh of course Kelly! Thank you for your reviews.
This was fun — I think I’ll make it a yearly tradition!
Great post! Thanks for getting us all together on this!
Thanks Erin! I am so happy you got in the Naked Basics in time for it! It is still sitting in my cart on UD…I should probably take care of that today, lol!
Wow Angie–you did a GREAT job with this image map (or whatever you call it
). It honestly looks so, so amazing! Thank you so much again!
Hey Becca – Thank you so much for the kind compliments! I am so happy it functions correctly!
You are welcome.
This is a wonderful post – I love that you’ve featured so many lovely beauty bloggers. Lots of great ideas – many products that I love (especially Inglot Freedom System!)
Hi Catherine, Thank you so much! I’m glad you like it. I have not yet tried out Inglot but have heard such great things about it. Kelly’s post definitely makes me put it on my wish list – they look so very soft & blendable!
You’re welcome, Angie! I’ve been really impressed with their eyeshadow – plus the Freedom System is so cool. My sister (who isn’t nearly as much of a makeup junkie) said the shade selection was overwhelming, but I was totally mesmerized
Haha, yes I can relate to your sister sometimes! I feel like that sometimes especially when there is so much to choose from a brand I have not tried I’m a little like a deer in headlights trying to figure out where to begin!
Great post and SUPER comprehensive.
Thank you – I’m glad you like it!
Love love love it!! I am so in love with how you’ve done your blog too! And now I have lots of goodies I want! lol
Oh yeah! So happy you love it Miranda! <3 Thank you for your kind words! Happy shopping, lol <3
