theBalm Cosmetics is currently on Hautelook (until 8am Pacific time on 2/4/2013) and so I couldn’t wait to share this swatch-post with you! The Overshadow Eyeshadow in If You’re rich, I’m Single is a loose mineral eyeshadow with lots of shimmer and dimension.
The packaging and product names are divine!
This finely-milled powder is talc, paraben, fragrance and oil free.
If You’re Rich, I’m Single is a beautiful mauve/pewter shade with lots of shimmer.
I am very impressed by theBalm Cosmetics pan eyeshadows, and this loose mineral eyeshadow is no exception. The pigmentation is amazing, creamy and smooth with a beautiful shimmer, this is a gorgeous shade!
What are your must-have products from theBalm Cosmetics?
I’d love to hear if you plan on getting anything from the sale on Hautelook! I am eyeing the Meet Matt(e) Nude palette, or the Nude’Tude palette! Also, the Mary-Lou Manizer has been recommended to me so much over the past few months that I also must give that a try!

Pretty shade! I need to really use my Nude Tude palette more often… it’s losing my love haha
Oh do you like the Nude Tude palette? I didn’t pick that one up in sale, but was debating it!
I did grab a couple items on Hautelook today. Meet Matt(e) Nude was definitely one of them
I adore their blushes and was finally able to complete my collection recently. I can’t wait to share the post! I’ve never tried the overshadows. Loose shadows scare me a bit. Any tips on avoiding a mess while applying?
Oh I can’t wait to see and hear what you think of them! Wow that is so cool to hear you have the full blush collection now – I haven’t yet tried one of them and should have picked one up but I was too late! I would say for any of my loose eyeshadows I have to be in a particular mood to wear them, but they are my favorites when it comes to getting some good sparkle on the eyes! Especially with the elf loose mineral eyeshadows (Elegant is my favorite!) something about them makes them so soft and intense to apply. They are messy though – no way I’ve found out yet to keep them from getting all over the place, lol!
I’m probably going to pick up Meet Matte. I adore matte eye shadows and they are quite difficult to find in full pallettes.
I LOVE my NYX Bohemian Chic Nude Matte Collection palette, but the vast majority of these shades are neutral and light to medium. TheBalm Meet Matte seems to have more color and a few deep shades I could really use.
I just love matte shadows. They look more natural on the eye and if you are aging or getting fine lines or a hooded eye with age or sun damage, mattes are your new best friend. They are lovely on everyone and essential for aging eyes.
And the Mary LouManizer. Always in the market for a good highlight that isn’t just a disco ball of sparkle! I’ve seen so many good reviews of this that I took a chance. Hope it’s good!
Great choices! I have also seen so many good reviews of the Mary Loumanizer! I can’t wait to hear what you think of it!
I tend to prefer pink or silver highlights, so this gold-toned highlight is a real leap of faith for me. I figure that if it doesn’t quite work with my skin as a highlighter, it will be lovely on my blue eyes as a shadow.
The shipping time on HauteLook is awful so I should be able to tell you what I think sometime in March. Hopefully, March 2013, but who knows with these shipping times! LOL
BTW, great super-inexpensive silver/pink highlighters:
-Hard Candy Glow All The Way
-Boots No. 7 Highlights Illuminating Lotion (dead-on dupe for Benefit High Beam at half the price per ounce)
