Revlon’s newest display of nude polishes in their Colorstay Longwear Nail Enamel line is a perfect way to find the nude nail you’ve always been searching for. The creamy finish and long lasting quality of these polishes make them simply stunning! Today I have two of the lightest warm shades in the collection, Porcelain and Sandy Nude.

Revlon’s Naked Tips & Neon Lips Collection contains 8 nude polishes (Nude Beige, Natural Tan, Sandy Nude, Porcelain, Mocha, Cool Beige, Natural Pink, and Rose Beige). The shade range has a perfect mix of warm and cool nude and nude-like shades to compliment any skin tone. The collection also offers three Colorburst lipglosses in Atomic Pink (a vibrant pink), Orange Glow (a bright tangerine orange) and Killer Watt (a bright coral-pink). I love the Revlon Colorstay Longwear Nail Enamel formula because of how vibrant it stays on my nails until I remove it. (It rivals Butter London and essie for me). Revlon claims that it has “gel-like shine” with “11 days of lasting color”. I can say it does have a beautiful shine without a topcoat, which is very impressive! I am not sure I can verify the 11 days, however, because I am way too impatient at getting a new shade on my tips for it to last that long!
Application and Formula. The Revlon Colorstay polishes are easy to apply with the wide and squared-off tip to the brush. The formula is a bit sticky, and does take longer to dry between coats. I have learned to be patient and allow the first coat to nearly fully dry before applying the second coat or I always get bubbles. Patience is key! Although the polish does take longer to set, when applying to the nails I also found I needed to be sure to apply it very evenly with each initial stroke, as going back in to fix anything would cause it to become uneven. This is a polish that I will not throw on my nails when I am in a hurry – but when taking the time necessary, I always love the finished result!
Opacity. When looking at nude polishes in the bottle it is always hard to tell if they will end up being sheer or opaque. As you can see from the swatches above, the lightest shade Porcelain, is a bit more sheer, and two coats does not deliver full opacity. I rather like the look of it for this light polish, and find it to be very natural looking on the hands. Sandy Nude is more opaque with two coats, so I could imagine the darker nudes like Mocha, Cool Beige, and Rose Beige would be more opaque as well.
Overall, I find this whole collection beautiful, and I am happy to have found two shades that work well with my skintone. Porcelain is my perfect “mannequin-hand” shade, although sometimes when my hands are cold they are the exact same shade as the polish and they almost look dead (Lol!). I love the slightly deeper shade of Sandy Nude, and think this will look perfect in the summertime when I tend to pick up more sun or use self-tanner.
Where To Buy: The display I saw was at one of my local grocery stores in Texas (HEB), but I most recently saw the full display in Ulta as well. Prices may vary in your area, but I paid $7.97 for each polish.

Which do you think is best for fairest skin?
Hi there! I think the lightest warm shade, Porcelain would work well for fairest warm skin, and if you have cooler tones then Natural Pink would be the lightest. If you want it a little darker and have warm tones then go with Sandy Beige and if cooler tones, then I think Cool Beige would be gorgeous! I hope that helps you out a little!
