Maybelline Fit Me Foundation Nude Beige Review | Swatches

Maybelline-Fit-Me-Foundation-125

Although I have oily skin, I have been experimenting with foundations that give me more of a luminous finish, like Maybelline Fit Me foundation.  While it does not have all-out shimmer, it gives my face a nice glow, and I love the medium coverage it gives.  I usually top it off with a setting powder for during the day (as well as my VanityPicks for a Flawless Face to help with controlling shine), or for a more full-coverage look, I top it off with a mineral powder, like Laura Mercier Mineral Powder in Natural Beige.  Read for more review details!

Before & After, Maybelline Fit Me Foundation 125, Nude Beige

Maybelline’s Fit Me Foundation is a medium coverage yet lightweight foundation that blurs imperfections and leaves the face with a fresh and luminous finish.  While the finish is not glittery or shiny, if you have oily skin like I do you can tone it down by using mattifying products, yet the finish of the foundation does show through.  The coverage is medium, yet the feeling of it is very lightweight and feels very comfortable on the face.  This product lasts about 8 hours on my face before noticing wear.  I have applied this foundation with my fingers as well as my Sigma F80 and F88 brushes, and all work beautifully with this product.  The foundation can be a little bit runny, and takes some getting used to when figuring out how much to layer depending on what coverage you wish, but once over that learning curve, it is easy to work with.

Fit Me comes in 18 shades, which is impressive for a drugstore foundation.  I also love the chic packaging, and the fact that it pours out makes it easy to work with.

Overall, I love the feel of this foundation and find when I use it in conjunction with a powder it has a beautiful finish.

  1. Wow that looks amazing on you, Angie! I haven’t purchased drugstore foundation in a LONG long time, but I am very curious about this one now. You’re right about the finish–it looks really dewy and natural and not at all greasy. I like it!

Thank you Becca! I would say overall I am very impressed with this foundation for the finish as well as the light feel – plus for around $5 it is definitely worth a try! ;)
