Maybelline Baby Lips Pink Punch | Swatch

In Lips, Maybelline by Angie Canning8 Comments

I know it is going to be hard to believe, but until this week I had never tried Maybelline Baby Lips before!  I own a handful of lip balms, and didn’t think to add these balms to my lip arsenal, but I’m glad I picked one up to give it a try!  These Baby Lips have been so popular that I had a hard time tracking one down that was tinted, so choosing Pink Punch was quite an accident.  I do have to mention these balms are scented, and this particular one is quite fragrantly fruity!

Maybelline Baby Lips, Pink Punch

25- Pink Punch Swatched on the lips
It gives a surprising punch of pink on the lips, especially for a balm!

I found Pink Punch to be quite smooth and easy to apply.  The full Baby Lips color line contains two sheer shades (Quenched and Peppermint) as well as a red shade (Cherry Me), lavender (Grapevine), and a peach tone (Peach Kiss).  I am very curious about Peach Kiss so I think I will need to pick that one up for sure!

Sandra from Mom’s Makeup Stash did a review of the Maybelline Baby Lips, so be sure to check out her post here: Maybelline Baby Lips Balm: Photos & Review

Where to Buy: $2.99, Target (I didn’t realize they were so cheap – I think I’ll need to get a few more for sure!)

Which Maybelline Baby Lips are your favorites!?  I’d love to hear what you thought of these, and if you found your lips to be “visibly renewed, virtually reborn” as Maybelline

    1. Thanks for linking my review Angie. I think you should totally pick up Peach Kiss. It’s the Baby Lips I wear most often and in my opinion the most natural/wearable shade. Great photos!!!!!!!

      1. Hi Sandra – No problem! 🙂 Thank you for your response about Peach Kiss – I think I do need to get that one for sure. 🙂 Thanks for the kind compliments as well. I hope your day is going great today so far!

    2. Wait, what? This looks like a lipstick on you! Every Baby Lips swatch I’ve seen is super sheer, this one looks amazing.

      1. Haha, I know I was so shocked at the pigment! I will admit I do not wear a shade of pink like this too often so it is taking me a bit to get used to (I tend to go for warmer shades) but yes I too was surprised at the color especially for a balm! 🙂

    3. i seen this in a magazine and i knew i wanted it then, but now seeing this i wanna get it even more! i am really loving all of your pastel pink reviews, lol! i was just over on your bff’s youtube channel just saying how i miss your videos! thank you for sharing this review! xx Erica

      1. Hi Erica! Yes I would recommend these for sure! They feel great on the lips and they are very affordable too so it is a great deal I think! 🙂 Aww thank you for your kind words on missing my videos! I am really trying to get back into posting them – I should be on a schedule very soon. 😉 Hope all is well for you!

    4. I applied this one for the first time sans mirror on the way to work one day. Color me surprised to see bright pink lips once I got to work! It’s a little too much for me to wear too often and I don’t find the balm to be super moisturizing (big surprise). I also have Peach Kiss which is fairly sheer with some sparkle, but I’m not a fan of the scent and since I layer a fair amount on, it puts me off a bit.

      1. LOL! Yes that would be shocking if you applied without a mirror! Haha! I too am not used to wearing a shade like this unless I am in the mood for it. I was wondering about the Peach scent. I like the color but if it is more of a fake peach scent I may have to pass (or at least I will purchase it since it is so cheap and then decide, haha). 🙂
