I almost feel like I’m at the opposite end of the spectrum at this point in my life because before I was 30 I would not have dared to bare a red this intense, but now I’m drawn to every red and bright color out there (within reason yet — I’m still working on my courage to bare the new Maybelline Colorsensational Vivid lipsticks! 
) The Kate Moss for Rimmel Lasting Lipsticks have a smooth texture with a beautiful sheen, and do not dry out my lips. Although 01 is not a new shade, it is too bold and fabulous not to share with you!

This is a gorgeous red! Bold shades look great on you. I keep meaning to try this line since I keep hearing good things and it always catches my eye in store. I was scared of the Maybelline Vivids as well, but I have grown fond of them. I actually wore Vivid Rose last night and liked it. I need to get my butt in gear and post more often, lol.

I will totally have to get some of the Vivids then if you like them! The packaging alone is so bright I don’t think I will be able to resist them for much longer. 
Your photos…enticing as always! I’ve never tried Rimmel but the Kate Moss lip colors always look appealing. I think you can easily rock the Maybelline Vivids. It’s all about confidence…and the right blush of course

I also love the Rimmel Lasting Finish Kate Moss range. Color 01 is interesting because it seems to be a universal red that looks good on all skintones. I love it!
The one I wear the most often is 08, a pinky-brown shade that is great for everyday wear.
There is a new Rimmel Lasting Finish Kate Moss Matte range just rolling into stores that is also fantastic. These are in the red tubes with the black signature. They are quite similar to the original, but more moisturizing and more comfortable to wear. In the US, we get about a dozen shades or so (which I have seen in Walgreen’s), but in the UK they seem to only be getting 5 shades. I picked up the shade 101, a pale, cool pink. I will be purchasing more of these!

I have to agree with you I am in love with the Lasting Finish lipsticks – they are so fabulous and for the price point they are even more so!

I love them just as much – so light on the lips and beautiful pigmentation!
I ended up picking up one of the Vivids this weekend and will need to search for a couple more of them (the display I found had a lot that had already been “sampled” (yuck, lol). I can’t wait to share what I think!
