elf Loose Mineral Eyeshadows | VanityPicks for Holiday Shimmer

Today I wanted to share with you my VanityPick for adding a little holiday shimmer to any eyemakeup look!  When the holidays come around and you need a little extra sparkle fast, these elf loose mineral eyeshadows are a perfect way to add holiday shimmer.

elf Loose Mineral Eyeshadows come in 28 shades in both shimmery and matte finishes.  The shades above are all shimmery.

Sassy looks like a beautiful rose gold in the pot, but applies a little bit darker than I expected, and the result is a rosey metallic light brown.
Elegant is the perfect champagne shade that is perfect to brighten the inner corners of the eye or to pat on the center of the lid to add extra dimension to any eye look.
Sweet is a shimmery light pink shade with slight bits of glitter.
Golden is a pure shimmery gold shade that looks like liquid gold when applied with the finger directly on the lid.

Where to Buy: elf Loose Mineral Eyeshadows can be purchased at eyeslipsface.com for $3 each.  They are also sold seasonally in Target stores usually in combined packages of two or three, and sometimes includes a flat eyeshadow brush that works well in the application of these eyeshadows.

Application Tips

• These eyshadows are of course loose, so fallout is to be expected, especially with the shimmery ones so you may want to do your foundation as a last step when working with these shadows.
• Use a dense brush and tap off excess when applying to lid, or just use your finger to gently press it on (my favorite method).
• I also like to use my finger to pat the product onto the center of the lid to brighten and add sparkle to a smokey eye, or even to take any neutral daytime look into the sparkly night!
