The Spring 2013 Collection from Chanel piqued my interest, and being that I made it my New Year’s Beauty resolution to be on the quest for the perfect highlighter, I thought I would splurge a bit and experience the beautiful Poudre Signée de Chanel Highlighting Powder from this collection:

What you can only slightly see is the amazing shimmer in this powder. Once I swatched it at the counter, it was a done deal right then and there! (I will capture better photos I promise!)
While I was at it, why not experience the Chanel Joues Contraste Powder Blush in Frivole as well? I mean it’s warmth was seriously calling out to me on a dreary drizzly day like today and I figured I could use a little sunshine!

I got both these products from the Chanel spring collection as well! I was going to get Raffinement as well but I decided to save my money and buy a few Burberry items instead!

Oh yeah!
I was so excited about the beautiful collection this year, and I really wanted Raffinement as well, but the last few LE collections I have purchased from other brands have had such similar colors (plums) that I told myself I would wait until another time to splurge on something different. 
I think we have great taste in makeup, girl!
