Butter London Wallis: Review | Swatches

In Butter London, Nails by Angie Canning1 Comment

Today I’m sporting none other than Wallis by Butter London.  I am so in love with this beautiful golden olive shade that has breathtaking dimension!  I wanted to capture every angle in natural and artificial light and my jaw almost dropped at its golden gleam in the sunlight! Yes, I am smitten!

Butter London describes Wallis as: “A tarnished, metallic olive gold nail lacquer, as mysterious and regal as its namesake.”  I couldn’t agree more!  At times it looks like a tarnished gold, others a golden olive, and no matter what light you are in, the metallic flecks are breathtaking!

Butter London – Wallis

Artificial Light – 2 coats, no topcoat

Natural Light – 2 coats polish, 1 coat Butter London PDQ Topcoat

It is no secret that I find Butter London’s polish formula amazing.  This one was no exception, perfect consistency to smooth over the nail, not watery or sticky – just perfect.  I did two coats of the polish in the above photos, and after snapping a photo of the polish without a topcoat (first photo) I then added Butter London’s P.D. Quick Top Coat for the remainder of the photos.  I have a few Butters under my belt now, and with each one I am amazed at how long they stay on my nails in comparison to other polishes, and the application is just a breeze!  There is nothing worse than becoming frustrated when putting on nail polish – haha! 😉

OVERALL: I can’t even begin to tell you how pleased with Wallis I am.  The formula, application, the color – I love it all and definitely recommend!
